The Linda Ulland Memorial Gardens at the visitors' center at the US Army Corps of Engineers' Cross Lake Recreation Center are an educational welcoming area for  locals as well as visiting campers and boaters.

Looking for a sustainable redesign, a design was created to feature innovative storm water integration, site-sensitive plantings, and educational opportunities. The concept design offered opportunities to work with local artists on educational sculptures and materials.
